About us

Ash Design is based in the pretty market town of Oakham in Rutland.

It was set up by Ashley Miles Dennis who graduated from Loughborough College of Art & Design in 1991 with a First Class honours degree in furniture design. Since then he has designed and sold many ranges of contemporary furniture and won awards. He has also worked with clients in the US and Europe as well as the UK.

His passion and enthusiasm for living spaces eventually let him into property design and development. He now applies the attention to detail he learnt as a furniture and product designer into homes.

As well as designing and selling their own homes, Ash Design also offer their design services to others. So whether its renovating and extending an existing house to create your dream home or starting from scratch with a complete new-build, Ash Design can help you create your dream living space.

‘People underestimate the importance of a well designed home’ and Ashley believes a well designed home should be a space that give’s you energy, inspires you and connects with you in a way that you should feel part of it.
